I have temporarily disabled blog comments because I had problems trying to figure out how to fix it when it was powered with Cutenews. The problem was that all my comments on all my posts disappeared completely and I was very upset about that. And there was this ugly error when you were to post a comment and I didn’t know what it was. So, instead of finishing the book I’m supposed to be reading soon, I procrastinated and just switched back to Wordpress. I just go so frustrated and sick with Cutenews I don’t know why I used it in the first place… Wordpress isn’t as hard as I thought it was. *slaps forehead* Blah I think it’s because I am just lazy. On a positive side, my blogs won’t have to contain anymore weird comments from spammers which I got HUNDREDS from when I had Cutenews. OMG it was annoying.
Anyways, supposedly I am on Spring Break until March 30th. Then we start school again on the 31st. -_- What have I been doing on my Spring Break? Well, not relaxing or having too much fun thats for sure. I’ve been wayyy too busy applying for scholarships (so far I’ve submitted 21), worked on a graduation party invitation design for my cousin, reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley for English class (an analysis is due when we come back from break -_-), and I still have more on my to do list:
>_< Note that sadly my social life has to stay at the bottom of my list of priorities of things to do during Spring break. Omg I only have 4 days left to get all this stuff done. I need to stop procrastinating now. It's a weakness.

Since my last blog I have been yet again so caught up with so many events in life! I feel like I’m at the highest point of my life so far to know a lot of good things haven been occurring lately. 
I’ve slowly started to complete all the plans and goals I’ve made and this momentum of my life is only the beginning! 
Lets see… I’ve finally gotten accepted to Maryland Institute College of Art and I’m soo happy!! I really want to go there. And I also got accepted to Pennsylvania College of Art! The only thing I have to really worry about now is paying for tuition, housing, supplies, living expenses etc. Oh my gawd its going to be so hard. I’m applying for sooo many scholarships right now because I’m in desperate need and I really can’t afford to be in debt for the rest of my life! My parents are really iffy about the fact I’d be in debt for a while and just trying to get the deposits in soon is hard!
I also got accepted to Pennsylvania College of Art, its a nice small town with a friendly community. I like how it is small so then I can have more attention in class with the teachers. Although, I think MICA would be exciting because I can explore more new places, new people, and everything! I’ve lived in Aberdeen for so long, its such a small town, it would be pretty different! I went to PCAD’s Open House and it was nice, the people there were kind, but I’m still indecisive. I had my portfolio reviewed and they were really impressed and said my website here seemed above average and I’d definitely make a good addition to the PCAD community. They approved my porfolio and even recommended me for a scholarship! But its such a small amount, I’d still have to pay a lot. BLEH.
In addition to those two schools I also got accepted to Villa Julie College. Ehh. It’s just a 3rd alternate.. its a liberal arts school so there isn’t much arts involved as I hope to have. The only good major they seem to have is their Visual Communications department.
Overall I’m so excited with the achievements I’m making so far! I’ve updated my deviantArt page again and the Portfolio page with all my latest Artwork. So go check that out! 
Eventually I am going to work on a Commissions page because lately I’ve been getting a few requests for custom portraits, designs, and other drawings! I need to start creating a set pricing for everything so it would be fair to sell because people have been offering money for my work.
As of today, there is 2 months and 7 days til GRADUATION! (May 28th, 2008) …I’m nervous and excited at the same time. I’ve already got my Cap and Gown ordered and picked up. It makes me sad to think about graduation coming so close by. 
It’s really starting to hit me that I’m 17 years old and I’m about to step into the real world. Well world, here I come. 
I’ve come back online to check and update some things since it really has been a long while again. I had to go and delete like hundreds to thousands of comments in my blogs because there was so much spam and inappropriate remarks that annoyed me! 
It took forever to try to sit there and delete them while trying to keep the good comments. So instead I just hit the ‘delete all’ button for all my previous updates. Now it looks like I’ve gotten ‘0′ for all of them Oh well. Next time I’ll try to check more often in case more spam comes by so I can ban/delete them before it multiplies into the thousands. 
I don’t have time to sit and delete them one-by-one! Time is like sand going through my fingers because it seems to disappear out of my grasp so fast! Maybe I should work on my time management a little more. 
Like managing my time with schoolwork, my job, and getting things done around the house. Also my time with planning for college, art, and my hobbies. The internet is like the source of my major procrastination besides the phone lol I’ve finally submitted my application last minute to Maryland Institute College of Art! My time management was so bad I got it finished 1:00 am that day and brought it to the post-office for express mail delivery. Gahh! I hope I get in… its the only institute I’ve applied to and my backup is a community college. I refuse to go anywhere else lol I know for a fact I’ll definitely be majoring in the arts because I’m not interested in anything else. I’ve thought about this decision a lot already. I’ll put up a page with a copy of my application essay and activities and interests on the site. Its like an autobiography-novel almost I doubt anyone would be so fascinated in reading about me haha.. but I’m putting it up anyway for keepsakes.
Also I’ve updated my deviantArt page, http://so-aesthetic.deviantart.com, with a lot of new artwork so far this year. Those are the best I’ve done so far this year that I think is worthy of being publicized online. I’ll update my portfolio pages on the site with them a little later as well.
I also got around to updating my Myspace and revamping the layout a little. It features photos of my boyfriend, Vance and I. ♥
ANYWAYS besides that, I am much more actively contacted via Myspace (so_aesthetic) or AIM (simplyaesthetic) if anyone needs me. The website is going to get more of a cleaning up soon! A few tweaks here and there and additions… and ads?? Yes those ugly ads around my site are getting bigger? yes… click on them, view them, etc. and I get revenue! So far I’ve only made $14.69 and I don’t get payment until I reach $100 It seems almost impossible because I lack any hits. I accumulate like an average of like a dollar or so. The ads include viewing the random Youtube videos on the bottom of the pages which I thought was pretty neat. Depending on the video that shows up, its quite entertaining lol.
