Ahh. Somehow my last post’s entry completely disappeared! I’m not sure how.. one day I came to check on the site and it’s just gone. I don’t feel like re-writing it especially since I don’t remember exactly what I wrote hahaa.. basically it was just saying how I graduated already

This summer is pretty busy, mostly because of work, family, friends etc. I’m not sure if I would have much of a chance to update much or add things like I hoped for this summer. I was hoping to put up a page with pricing details for commission/requests but I really don’t know how I should price things. It would become too complicated.

If anyone wants something from me just don’t be afraid to contact and ask.. we can just work something out

Woowwwww its almost the end of the school year for me! AHHH! May 28th is my high school graduation.. This week is final exams and graduation practice for all the seniors! Senior trip is also this Friday to Six Flags but I’m not going since I already went a few weeks ago to Six Flags. I’m nervous and excited at the same time! Mostly excited to be out of school and then have time in the summer! But nervous because I’m growing up so fast and I will have to learn to become more independent- soon leaving to go to college. A lot of new and exciting things have happened since the last time I updated and I just have been so busy with it all and that is why I couldn’t update the blog for a while! Prom was AMAZING last month and Six Flags Great Adventure field trip was one of the best (-my boyfriend was so awesome… he totally won a lot of games and in the end I had like a trash bag full of stuffed animals to take home!). Let me tell you, life seems to be at its highest peak right now, I’ve never felt so ecstatic before! Here are some pictures:

Oh I can’t believe all the amazing things I’ve been receiving lately too! For example I got my report card for 3rd quarter which has been my highest GPA ever and I’m on Honor Roll again. Also, my last ever high school art show at took place on the 8th of May and it was excellent. I won like 3 awards!! Ahhh, I was excited and I kinda felt bad at the same time because I felt it was unfair that I always won- especially three awards! I felt other people should have deserved an award too. But I guess it was well deserved anyway; I won “Best in Show,” I was voted “People’s Choice” by most of the students at my school, and I won 1st place in the Drawing category. I’ll be sure to post up some new art work to show on the website too.
Not only have I received awards from school, I’ve also won a few scholarships and I hope to hear replies from more.. I received two scholarships from Maryland Institute College of Art- $30,000 Presidential Scholarship and an $8,000 National Art Honors Society Scholarship. I also received a $750 art scholarship from the Soroptimist of Havre de Grace, MD and recently, I am receiving a $1,000 scholarship from Aberdeen Rotary Club of MD tomorrow at a luncheon! I can’t wait! :3 You don’t know how extremely grateful I am now, and how relieved I feel now that I am accepted at an amazing college and that I’ve received awards. These awards have definately lifted up my spirits and hopes for a successful future, and a slight financial relief, and relief from my parents who thought, at the very beginning, that I would never come this far. I finally proved wrong, and I feel like I can follow the pathway towards an artistic career that I’ve always hoped for. I feel extremely lucky and I hope someday I can make use of my talent to contribute to others too. And it goes to show that I should never take anything I’ve done in life for granted - and that there is a reason for everything you do; even if you think something is completely useless. Just sitting in front of the computer all day, working hard, making websites and random drawings, which I thought seemed worthless to me, has finally come to account in something truly valuable. And now I feel more motivated to work harder, push myself towards something more challenging, and once summer hits, I’m definitely going to get started on even more! Especially this website- it needs more. I know it does.

Besides, I also have to continue working for hours at my job to make money and save for college :[ Plus, I need to buy a new phone because mine died, and I need a new laptop because if I might major in Graphics Design I would need a Macintosh. BLAH.
